SILENT WRITEAPRIL 14, 7:30 PM CDT
The best way to become a better writer is to practice. But often we sit down with our laptop or our pen and notebook and our mind goes blank. Silent Write was created to help writers get words on the page. Each month we write for about an hour with the aid of writing prompts. At the end of the session participants have the option to share a little of what they wrote. Silent Write is a non-critique writing group hosted by Nathan Feuerberg. Nathan has an MSc in Creative Writing from The University of Edinburgh, and an MFA from The University of New Orleans.

Many thanks to the organizers and animator of this workshop. Over long cold winter months I looked forward to this even each month. I am so happy to tell you that one of the results of this workshop, a flash fiction piece is currently appearing in the “Power edition of the Berlin-based literary review, The Wild World. My piece is entitled “They Told Secrets in the Dark” and I am beyond thrilled to see it in public! Many thanks for this and other electric prompts. Isobel Cunningham
