Gala de los Muertos:
A Night of Legacy, Fashion & Art at Live Aqua
Come and enjoy a magical night with a catrina catwalk of emerging designers, delicious canapés and the elegance of a gala masquerade!
In the heart of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, a decade-long journey of artistry and love culminates in a night of breathtaking fashion at the Live Aqua Hotel. The Gala and fashion show, a dazzling event, stands as a testament to the creative collaboration between Oskar and Ashley—a couple whose shared passion for design and local culture is set to transform the fashion & arts landscape of Mexico, and in so many ways, already has. Oskar, who has spent the last ten plus years leading innovative projects with local artisans and master craftsmen, has woven the rich textures and vibrant colors of Guanajuato into every thread of his designs. His commitment to honoring traditional craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion, ceramics, architecture and cuisine has earned him a revered place and many awards in the world of innovative design.
Halloween and Dia de Muertos are nearly upon us, and most everyone is looking forward to participating in the colorful traditions of the season. One spectacular event without precedent in San Miguel will take place on Sunday, October 27, from 8pm to midnight, on the main terrace at Live Aqua, at Calzada De La Presa #85, in Centro: the Gala de los Muertos.
This special event will open with cocktails, canapés and a photography session, and finish with dancing, with DJ, sound and lighting provided by Chorcha Entertainment, one of the largest event production agencies in Mexico.
In between, starting at about 9pm, attendees will experience a catwalk and fashion show featuring the work of designers including Daniel Espinosa, Sindashi & Pascual Orozco.
To fully partake in the spirit of the festivities, attendees are encouraged to come masked or in Catrina makeup.
