You are INVITED!
Amistad Canada and Feed the Hungry San Miguel team up to Run/Walk for Food. Feed the Hungry has been invited to participate in the first Virtual Walk/Run Marathon by Scotia Bank of Toronto this October. The event will take place virtually at each participant’s time and on any day in October. There is no need to congregate. All they need to do is register, pick a day to walk/run, and upload a selfie of their walk/run and a photo of their route in the portal.
Together, they hope to raise $60,000 CAD, which will be used to purchase food to feed more than 4,000 struggling families in the San Miguel de Allende municipality, in support of the “Feed the Families Program.” Since March, the program has provided nearly 5 MILLION MEALS to families affected by school closures and job losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
