Special Adoption Day [] Sociedad Protectora de Animales (SPA)

The S.P.A. will be having a special adoption day for both our cats and dogs. We are so happy that you have this opportunity to grow your family or start a family that will bring you love and joy for years to come! The adoption fee is only 600 mx.and includes all current vaccinations and sterilization.

Please bring a collar and leash with you. If you don’t have these than you can purchase a starter adoption kit for 250 mx from the S.P.A.

As a bonus, we will give away 4 adoption kits to the first 4 adopters!

The Sociedad Protectora de Animales de San Miguel de Allende has been leading the charge in animal welfare since 1980. We are the oldest no-kill animal shelter for dogs and cats in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and we house about 100 animals available for adoption: Dogs or Cats . We also have a clinic within our facilities that offers lower-cost medical care for pets owned by the public.

We have many goals at the S.P.A. We want to educate our community about the importance of taking care of their pets and giving them the health care they need, i.e., vaccinations and sterilization, and provide an economical means to satisfy these responsibilities. We would like to increase awareness and appreciation of animals so that others can enjoy the magic that comes from loving and owning a pet. Teaching others to be kind to and tolerant of animals is another one of our goals. Regarding our own S.P.A. animals, we are searching for permanent, loving homes for all of them. We also want to provide the best living conditions for our animals while they are at the S.P.A., waiting for their forever homes.
