El Charco’s membership par.  ty will be held on Dec. 3rd from 4-6pm.  Please mark your calendars.  Between now and Dec. 4, you can become a member or renew for 1500 pesos and on Dec. 4th, the cost will be 2,000pesos.

NEW ACCESS AND MEMBERSHIP RATES TO THE BOTANICAL GARDEN The continuous increase in the cost of living both nationally and locally, as well as the new labor standards that have come into effect in Mexico, inevitably affect El Charco del Ingenio’s finances. This situation forces us to establish new rates for both access and membership, in order to face the growing expenses of the Botanical Garden. The new rates will allow us to offer a better service, attention and security to all users of this important biocultural heritage of San Miguel de Allende.

We thank in advance the understanding of visitors and members of the Botanical Garden for this necessary increase in rates, in consideration of an unquestionable reality: “conservation costs”.

Visitors: As of December 2024, general access to the Botanical Garden will cost 100 pesos per person. For students, teachers and seniors (with a valid national credential) the entrance fee will be 50 pesos. Access will continue to be free for children under 10 years of age.

Members: As of December 4, 2024, new memberships or renewal of the annual membership will cost 2,000 pesos (offer of 1,500 pesos before December 4).

We ask members, on each visit, to carry their membership card and register at the entrance to the Garden. The membership card is non-transferable, only the member may use it.
