On November 2nd, as every year, monumental offerings dedicated to the deceased of families or emblematic characters of San Miguel are placed in the main garden of the Heritage City and some other squares of the city.
As every year, the Directorate of Culture and Traditions invites San Miguel families, civil organizations and educational institutions to make an offering in the squares of San Miguel de Allende.
The main garden is filled with flowers, candles, food, and a lot of creativity when you see the altars set up around the main square in the center of the city, where you can see altars dedicated to teachers of an educational institution, or civil association.
This year was also almost in front of the Municipal Palace the offering to the famous Motor, a man who daily went out to sell cakes in the streets of San Miguel with a peculiar whistle indicating that he was already selling cakes, which was very loved by the people of San Miguel who knew him.
Another altar is dedicated to Dany Dante, a former reporter and videographer well known in San Miguel de Allende, for his program Liberadores de Almas who was a pioneer in the urban paranormal throughout Mexico, in addition Dany worked on channel 3 and channel 4 as a videographer covering the news day by day.
His wife Alma Rayas and his daughter always put their altar in the downtown area, she still continues with the Soul Liberators program that she started with Dany, who remembers him with a lot of love and that continues to grow Dany’s legacy internationally.
Another one that always draws attention is the offering to the motorcyclists, where motorcycles predominate and they put next to a mat, in addition schools such as CBTI’S 60, UNAM, Instituto Allende, among others are also located in the main garden.
They also placed altars in the atrium of the parish of San Antonio where one of the offerings is dedicated to the founders of the ancient painting Antonia Torres and Paustino Rubio, this offering is located on the steps of the Atrium of San Antonio.
Visitors and foreigners alike are already gathering to visit the altars that are all over the world heritage city of San Miguel de Allende, which will be removed tonight
