The season opens Sunday, 7 July with an extraordinarily talented cellist, Alexander Hersh. Raised in Chicago, Hersh began playing the cello at the age of 5 and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2022, and is now one of the most exciting and creative talents of his generation. He has appeared as soloist with orchestras such as the Houston Symphony and Boston POPS, and has received top prizes at competitions worldwide. “Hersh has everything to become the darling of the public.”– RTBF Radio Belgium
We continue on Sunday, 14 July with pianist Kenny Broberg, already of the youngest internationally renowned keyboard players of his generation. Lauded for his inventive, intelligent and intense performances he won the 2021 American Pianist Awards, the silver medal at the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and a bronze medal at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition. “Broberg mastered everything he performed .. epic” – The Indianapolis Star
The summer season ends on Sunday 21 July with a concert by 22 year old violinist Sarah Dragan, who is emerging as one of the finest violinists of her generation. Despite her young age she has won first prize at almost 50 violin competitions in Europe, Asia and USA.
