This year the municipal cultural authorities decided to send the art and creations of the master cartonero, Hermes Arroyo, to a corner, with a nativity scene that gets stronger and more beautiful every year.
Master Hermes, who with his mojigangas brightens up the most traditional festivities of San Miguel de Allende and who in 2016 decorated the Vatican Museum during Christmas, this year presents one of his most admirable creations: El Sagrado Nacimiento (The Sacred Nativity).
The nativity of the master cartonero sanmiguelense, Hermes Arroyo decorated the Vatican Christmas in 2016.
During previous years it was exposed in the atrium of the Temple of the Oratory and this year the authorities of Culture, in charge of Acasio Martinez Ramirez, decided to put it in a corner of the Angela Peralta Theater, at the intersection of Hernandez Macias and Mesones.
This year the master cartonero once again shined, because wherever he is placed, even in a corner, he will always stand out for his work that even Pope Francis has been able to admire.
