An equestrian party is taking place this weekend at the Otomí Equestrian Club in San Miguel de Allende.

It is the GNP Major League Jumping Show Mexico Edition, the show jumping event where the best riders and horsewomen in the world will compete for the best places for four days.

On the second day of the so-called “best event of the year”, the winners of the 1.45-1.50 meter jumping category competition were the Crusaders team, formed by: Samuel Parod, Patricio Pasquel, and Juan Carlos Garcia.

“Everyone who attends this great event will live a premium event at all times, an incredible experience with social events, action, and world-class sport,” said Eduardo Leon, owner of the club that will be the official venue of the event for the next four years.

The equestrian circuit has more than 40 participants, including Mexican riders who have just competed in the last Olympics.

Every detail of the event is a clear demonstration of the good taste for the equestrian show jumping world in Mexico, both for its relevance, its format, and the economic boost it represents for San Miguel, the best city in the world, again awarded this 2021 by the prestigious Travel + Leisure magazine.

The event was attended by show business personalities such as Daniela Magun, Celina del Villar, Grettell Valdez, and Olivia Peralta, as well as prominent personalities from Guanajuato and international society such as Paola Pacheco, Eugenio Maillefer, José Pablo Diez, Guillaumo Mery, Haddley O’regan, Lauren Reckling, among others,

Now Otomí Club Hípico joins one of the biggest international events in conjunction with CONADE and the Mexican Equestrian Federation.
