The squares, gardens, and roads of San Miguel de Allende have already marked the way to await the visit of their Deceased Faithful Departed.
The Municipal Government in coordination with the Department of Environment and Ecology placed more than 8 thousand pots of the traditional cempasúchil flower in different parts of the municipality as part of the Day of the Dead celebration.
The main garden, the esplanade of the San Francisco church, Glorieta de los Héroes, the Plazuela de San Felipe, San Juan de Dios, Plaza de la Soledad and the old Plaza de Armas were colored yellow and orange to show the way back home for those who have passed away.
With this, the municipal government of Mauricio Trejo rescues and enhances the traditions and customs of the people of San Miguel in order to give way to the festivities of November 1 and 2 corresponding to the program in charge of the direction of culture and traditions.
