After the Presa Allende reached very low storage levels in April, after the rains in May it has recovered slightly. It reached 22% of fullness.
In a month of intermittent and heavy rains, Presa Allende has increased its levels, reaching 22% of its NAMO. In April, it was at 14% of its NAMO, due to the drought and the “La Niña” phenomenon.
On May 16, heavy rains fell in the municipality, which caused several damages in Residencial Zirandaro, the administrative building, Guadalupe Avenue, Obraje, Colonia Guadalupe, and Ejido de Tirado. These rains were favorable for the Presa Allende and the San Miguel countryside.
