New Yorker cartoonist Victoria Roberts brings her iconic cartoon character to life in this hilarious one-woman show, which debuted in Washington and New York, and comes to San Miguel for the first time.

When it ran in the U.S., Oprah Magazinecontributor Molly Peacock lauded the show in the pages of the magazine. Victoria Roberts “can make a hundred mental fireflies light up on a stage,” Peacock writes. “She understands the pressure point in a situation where you feel as if you’re living in a cartoon. Nona becomes a lens through which we can see ourselves – and be amused.” For the San Miguel production, the noted pianist Alberto Macedo serves as Victoria’s sidekick and accompanist.
