Reservations write to info@fincalunaserena.comFinca Luna Serena is our farm just north of San Miguel de Allende and we invite you to visit us soon. Our farm is small in comparison to our neighbors but that gives us quiet, privacy and fresh air. The views out over the Bajio are beautiful – the only other way to get these views is from a hot air balloon! Wander amongst our fruit and olive trees. Play with the dogs. Feed the chickens and turkeys. Get away from the noise and crowds of San Miguel and spend an afternoon on the country.

My family and I enjoyed a unique and wonderful adventure at Finca Luna Serena. This is the only place that makes pure olive oil in San Miguel.
We were there at noon and learned the history of olive oil and much more. Then we had the tasting of several flavors of the oil.
The 5 course lunch that followed was in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Since we were the only guests for this private experience, we lingered over this leisurely meal. We left Finca Luna Serena after more than 3 1/2 hours. happy, educated and full.
We’ve had scads of refugees from the frozen northeast visiting us this winter and spring and we’re always looking for special places to take them, especially for those that have been here before who have already been to or seen all the highlights of San Miguel. We’ve now gone twice to Finca Luna Serena and it is just fabulous. The owners, Victor and Susan, are wonderful, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and engaging — Victor gives a tour of the farm followed by a fascinating presentation about olive oil and a tasting. For our second visit, Susan, who is a certified olive oil sommelier, provided a presentation focused more on the flavor profiles and qualities of various olive oils. This is followed by a stupendous meal cooked just for your group and served on a terrace overlooking a spectacular landscape of olive trees and mountains. You can opt to have dinner instead of lunch and they do monthly events as well. The farm is a bit past Landeta but if you don’t have transportation, they will pick you up at Liverpool.

Finca Luna Serena is located a short drive outside of SMA. Contact them there, and they will give you answers to all your questions. It is a wonderful place, and if you’d like to know about the nuts and bolts of olive oil production, which is an interesting topic in and of itself, you will gain an insight by Victor’s presentation, and the opportunity to taste their products. Plus have a lovely lunch, on their roof-top terrace, overlooking the surrounding Sierra mountains. I can not recommend a more pleasant afternoon: educational, pleasant walk through their olive groves, and a delightful lunch. Hope you go!

A friend and I also did the Finca Luna Serena tour recently, and it was really wonderful. Victor is a superb host, the farm is beautiful, and the food was great. I am a vegetarian, and they made me a special vegetarian plate that was delightful. Support the local olive oil we have here in San Miguel, and take the tour! You will learn and enjoy at the same time, so who can ask for more?

Recently, enjoyed an afternoon in the country and took the tour of the Olive Farm. Victor, the owner and host is a delight! He gave a short presentation explaining the different grades of olive oil before touting the olive groves…My friends and I signed up for the lunch and tour. The food was delicious, and we were treated to some of Victor’s private label mezcal… Best I have ever tasted!
We had a wonderful time, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this “not to be missed experience!”

I have to second Ivy’s recommendation. Amazing day for us!! 12/10!! So close to SMA but you feel you are in a different world. We walked their plentiful gardens where they are able to serve farm to table with olive trees, multiple fruit trees, veggies and there are turkeys and chickens for eggs + 3 horses and 6 dogs.
Beautiful vista from their terraza where you are served a fabulous meal.

Only 10 minutes from town and they will meet you at Luciernega and escort you there.
You HAVE to go on it!! Amazing!!! Only $400 p and incl 10 different olive oil tasting, education on olive oils, tour of their incredible gardens and then a lunch to die for – different menus but we had several different oils, olives, bread – incl original style bruchetta where you put a clove of garlic and piece of tomato on your pats and then rub the tomato and garlic on the bread with oils + tampenade.
Pasta with your choice of olive oil + fresh basil, dill, oregano, rosemary from their garden and Parmesan cheese, Lebanon Swiss chard with mint rice, Moroccan lamb ravine with veggies, chocolate flourless cake with olive oil gelato and a creme type frais and bottle of wine.
They will accommodate all diet restrictions. Super!
