Special Tour: Finca de la Devoción [] La Biblioteca Publica (Public Library)

Only a short 20-minute bus ride out from the Biblioteca is Finca de la Devoción. This is a large, beautifully landscaped park-like setting is ideal for a country ramble or lounging by a lake with a glass of mezcal.

A stone swimming pool and spa is just up the bend. There is a hilarious party house where our host will be offering his homemade mezcal and hors d’oeuvres.

If an afternoon in the countryside has appeal, one could not find a more beautiful manicured setting, only minutes from the Biblioteca!

We are a non-profit organization that has been serving the San Miguel community for more than 65 years.  The mission of the Biblioteca is to provide, develop and maintain educational and cultural activities that contribute toward an integrated and harmonious community.  The staff and volunteers work together to provide an inviting community center that provides a lending library, skills training, educational and cultural activities in a safe environment for a multi-generational and a multi-cultural community. The library has thrived and grown through the generous gift of time and money by members of the community, and as is still the case, has relied for the past 50 years on the continued financial support of the people in San Miguel de Allende. The Biblioteca wishes to thank all of the generous persons, groups and companies for their donations of time and money.
