The work centers on the paradox of emotions which occupy our fragile inner and physical exteriors. The work too is loosely based on the book, “Les Parisiennes,” about women who faced choices each day regarding survival during WWII, Paris.
The work is profoundly poetic, characterized by meticulous composition and associations to create a collage using elements of light, solarization and every aspect of shadow imaginable. Through her lens she invites the viewer to explore the melancholic, the dreams, the invisible or desire, with which the photographs take on a meditative quality.
