Spanish tapas merged with Mexican cuisine are merged here at Restaurante La Canica, the collaboration of Mexican Chef Dominguez Bricio and Spanish Chef Paco Roncero.
Spanish Chef Paco Roncero has two Michelin stars and has served on the jury of Top Chef Master Chef program in Spain and in Colombia.
Chef Dominguez Bricio has several great successes behind him. Best known for the Garden of Miracles in the city of Guanajuato.

“Really nice find! Tasty food + quirky groovy”
The meal started well with an unusual amuse bouche–a shot of house made mescal! Margaritas were a hit with our crowd. I had tacos that were very good. I saw another reviewer complain about the hamburgers that came in grade school lunch boxes, but we thought that was a wonderful, creative presentation. Seeing all the different boxes brought back great memories from childhood that we enjoyed sharing with each other. It was a novel experience that made for a great lunch with friends.
I loved the decor and food. What a find!
