Her love of the Mexican culture, as well as a strong desire to make a difference, brought her to the highlands of Chiapas more than 25 years ago. Ivy’s ability to connect with people and her skills at conflict resolution led her to work in Indian Human Rights and the preservation of the rainforest. Her Spanish language skills were developed at this time and are today important cornerstones enabling her to work on a bilingual basis.

We found Ivy through friend that has used her to find a home in SMA. We made contact several weeks before arrival and listed approximately 30 homes that we wanted to see in a 4 day period. Prior to our arrival we had conversation with Ivy concerning our personal needs and wants in a home. She was able to eliminate some of the houses on our list and add others from our wants list. We spent 3 days seeing about 15 houses and purchased our dream home on the third day. Ivy was a home buyers’ angel from pre-arrived, contracts, inspections, closing and assistance with a person to facilitate utilities. We recommend Ivy 1000%.
