Congratulations on your 7th place finish in the 2017 SMART Awards.
In seventh place was another new restaurant and another French restaurant. It was the runner up for best new restaurant in this year’s SMARTs. I only remember one negative in the comments that were written about this excellent addition to the San Miguel dining scene and that concerned the time it takes to get there. In seventh place was El Vergel.
We had lunch toady at El Vergel. It was pouring raing, but we were able to get a table inside. They walked Arlena from the car to the restaurant under the umbrella.
The food was very good. I had a Chicken Sandwich and Arlena had the Bistro Burger. Well prepared and excellent service.

The burger at El Vergel restaurant is truly great. I get a burger delivered from El Vergel once a week.
