Dos Gringas Aromas was born from a simple craving: finding a candle in San Miguel de Allende that actually filled a room without filling your lungs with chemicals. When Sarah Hopkins—accountant, U.S. notary, and determined expat—couldn’t find what she was looking for, she did what any resourceful gringa would do: she made it herself.

With the help of her friend Samantha Jones, a seasoned candle maker from Texas, what started as a casa project in July 2024 became a full-blown love letter to San Miguel in January 2025. Today, every product is handmade right here in our beloved cobblestone paradise, blending Mexican warmth with clean, non-toxic ingredients.

We’re not just selling candles. We’re creating moments—the Sunday morning café con leche, the cozy noche curled up with a libro, the fresh scent of laundry hanging in the sun. This is scent with soul.
