We’re completing a house and have been very happy with the help of Cynthia Montes de Oca at CiBanco, who speaks great English. When in San Miguel, we write checks from our credit union in the US. When we’re up north, we send money via wire transfer using USAA.
We transfer the money to an account in Actinver, which our architects have used for years to pay their crew. At Actinver, Fernando Gonzales, who also speaks great English, has been wonderful at helping us.
It’s a bit of a lengthy process getting accounts set up here, but once done, they’ve worked well for us.
