Wafflesence de Paul is a small Belgian restaurant that opened its doors in San Miguel de Allende a little over a year ago, but it was only recently that it became popular on social networks; the reason was a fun challenge that the owner, Paul, put on his diners: those taller than him will get a free waffle.
For that at the entrance there is a two-meter ruler, where you can see that Paul reaches a height of 1.92 m.
However, those who have gone to Wafflesence de Paul say that the best thing about the place is the flavor of its waffles, especially ratatouille and chocolate, as well as those that contain Belgian chocolate or other special ingredients.
The cafeteria is run and managed by Paul and his mother, who come from a family of sugar and beet growers in Belgium, and wanted to start their business in Mexico, as they have shared on their social networks.
Wafflesence de Paul is located inside Casa Europa, in front of the San Francisco Temple, in the downtown area of San Miguel de Allende.
