The second half of the year in Guanajuato has a very special aroma: that of the vineyards during the harvest season. From August to October, the state dresses up to celebrate the Guanajuato 2026 Grape Harvests, one of the most anticipated seasons for wine lovers, travelers and those looking to live different experiences surrounded by spectacular landscapes.
What are grape harvests?
The harvest is the celebration of the grape harvest, the most important moment in the winemaking calendar. It is when the vineyards receive the fruits of a whole year of work and share with visitors the excitement of seeing a new harvest born.
In Guanajuato, this tradition has become a great festival where wine, gastronomy, culture and nature come together to create memorable experiences.
During these celebrations you can enjoy activities such as:
