Come and see an amazing art exhibition of two master painters, Andrew Osta and Efren Gonzales. The artists coming from Ukraine and Mexico join forces to put together an exhibit of some of the finest artworks you will see this year. San Miguel de Allende has always been one of the main artistic hubs in Mexico, thanks to its attractive layout, beautiful architecture, good weather, and interesting people. Artists from all over the world began flocking to San Miguel in mid 20th century, and have never quite stopped since. Despite the town’s expansion and changes, San Miguel continues to inspire creative individuals with its magic. Some come there to paint, others to write, others to take photos or compose music. The town’s enchanting and magnetic energy has been explained in different ways – some claim that San Miguel’s geographical location is special, others that the town is positioned on a huge deposit of quartz crystal, and that the crystal has magical properties. Others yet believe that St. Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of the town has a place in the equation.
Regardless, San Miguel has attracted some extremely fine artists over the years, and two of them will be joining forces this coming weekend in displaying their wonderfully inspired artwork at the beautiful and spacious Tres Fuentes Hotel on Stirling Dickinson #2. The exhibition opens Friday, July 25 at 5 PM, continues on Saturday 5 to 8 PM, and will remain accessible during the coming months, although the artists will no longer be present there in person.
