🎭 The Festival de las Artes de San Miguel de Allende, FASMA 2026, will take place from August 7 to 23.

With the participation of more than 25 cultural organizations from San Miguel, there will be over 100 activities of all kinds throughout the city, and more than 50% will be free. 🎶

✨ Highlighted events include:

* Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, with four choirs and over 100 choristers.
* A concert by the renowned Josep Solé, organist of the Vatican. 🎼

🎉 This edition celebrates 200 years of San Miguel as a municipality and 200 years of Mexico–France friendship, which is why France is the guest of honor. 🇫🇷

🎬 Thus, we’ll have French highlights: French cinema, concerts, theater, performances, and exhibitions featuring renowned French artists.

The Festival de las Artes de San Miguel de Allende — known by its acronym FASMA — returns in August 2026 for what promises to be another spectacular celebration of creativity in one of Mexico’s most artistically vibrant cities. Since its inaugural edition in 2022, FASMA has quickly established itself as a major cultural event, bringing together dozens of organizations and hundreds of artists for an immersive multi-disciplinary festival.

A Festival Born from Collaboration

FASMA was conceived by the Fundación Casa Europa México, which brought together San Miguel’s leading cultural organizations with a shared vision: to amplify the city’s already-rich arts scene into a coordinated festival that could attract visitors from across Mexico and beyond. The first edition in 2022 featured over 70 events spanning music, theater, cinema, dance, literature, and visual arts, organized by nearly 30 cultural associations. The guiding principle is accessibility — most events are either free or offered at a modest cost, ensuring that art remains open to everyone.
