BOLERO VIVO · GUANAJUATO INTERNATIONAL BOLERO FESTIVAL
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2026 | 7:00 PM
TEATRO ÁNGELA PERALTA, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
The Guanajuato International Bolero Festival arrives at the Angela Peralta Theater in San Miguel de Allende with BOLERO VIVO, a night dedicated to one of the great musical traditions of Mexico, Cuba and Latin America.
After its first documented edition in León in 2025, the Festival continues its journey bringing together voices and musicians linked to different traditions of Latin American music. Their proposal seeks to keep the repertoire of great bolero authors alive through interpretations and arrangements made by musicians of national and international trajectory.
In San Miguel de Allende, Maritza Montero, Gabriela Espinoza and Dairon Vázquez will be the voices of an evening accompanied entirely by live music, under the general direction of Ricardo Benítez.
More than looking to the past, BOLERO VIVO proposes to re-experience these songs in the present: listen to their stories, recognize melodies that have accompanied generations and share them again from the stage of one of the emblematic theaters of San Miguel de Allende.
