Tender Care at Home is a premium home care company dedicated to elder- care services in the home and through their daycare center. Director Sergio Chazaro Senderos brings twelve years experience in the eldercare space in San Miguel, and his passion is to develop a  company that offers professional at-home care for “elders,” the term he uses to describe his clients.   New to San Miguel, Tender Care began  operations in early January 2023, with a senior daycare center opening in the fall of 2022.

Tender Care’s approach is to have all staff certified as Caregivers by the Secretaría de Educación Publica.  Of those certified as Caregivers,  there are a percentage also licensed with the Cédula Enfermería, in nursing or technical nursing.  Along with this formal education and  documentation, there is ongoing education in basic English and personal development.  Sensitivity to burnout is a priority.  A psychologist is  available to help both staff and the elders’ families to ensure that they have the mental and emotional support they need to administer aid and care to the elder.  Sergio’s vision is you can’t teach or learn compassion, so along with the documentation and skills, staff must naturally be  compassionate, especially toward the elderly.
