Dra. Alma at Pet Vet has taken care of my dogs for the past 10 years. When my Shih Tzu was very ill and I had to go to the states, she told me to go and she would take care of my little one at her home. When my newly adopted dog did not look well I brought her to Pet Vet. Dra Alma saw me when I walked in and immediately took the pup from me and started an IV. She instantly knew what was wrong, began treatment and saved Raku’s life. Dra Alma is an excellent diagnostician, and a compassionate and a skilled veterinarian. Lorri B
PetVet is the best vet office in SMA. They not only have excellent staff and equipment, they care about our pets. In the past I have used 3 other vets, and nothing compares with Pet Vet… the others weren’t bad, just not as good, as caring.

I moved here over 12 years ago and the vets at PetVet have cared for all my cats. Drs. Alma, Tulio and Abraham are dedicated, professional and caring doctors. I trust them with the lives of my animals I find the original post unbelievable in several respects. I don’t think anonymous posts for a friend to be an honorable way to present a problem. I don’t believe the vets would mistake a male for a female cat, nor do I think they’d return an animal with a high fever to its owner.

We have been using PetVet for years and think Dr. Alma is the best. She is truly caring and takes excellent care of our dogs. A few years ago one of our dogs needed surgery, in Celaya, and not only did she arrange everything
but she had our dog brought there and picked up afterward. We have used other vets in town and none can compare to Dr. Alma.

On friday I took my dog to Pet Vet because I had to leave For a few days, they told me that she would be taken to a Ranch and would be playing along with other dogs, when I came before the day I was supposed to, I found out that not only was she was kept on a small cage For 4 days, but she was’nt even fed For 4 days
Yesterday my pet dog had a bone stuck in her upper palate. I took her to a wonderful local vet on Sterling Dicinson named Pet Vet where their immediate care was professional and caring. My dog was anesthetized, treated and released to me in perfect order. I paid the bill….because fortunately I can. But everyone can’t and I believe their pets are just as needing of care as ours.
1. Is there in town now any facility where pet care is offered at very low cost when needed?
2. If this is not normally available is anyone interested in getting such a facility up and running,,,,or is there something in existence that can be enlarged and made more available to the public who needs it?
There are not enough words to express how fortunate San Miguel is to have PetVet. My husband and I am part-time residents whose Spanish could be better. Everyone was professional, respectful, responsive and truly compassionate. Dr. Zaza is just amazing; extremely knowledgeable, experienced and committed. Despite the outcome of the sudden and unexpected situation that occurred with our beloved cat of 17 years, without a doubt we know that she, and we, received the best treatment in the world. Dr. Zaza and the entire staff will forever have our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
