San miguel de allende causes a sensation in tourist tianguis

In order to continue strengthening the tourism positioning strategy designed by the Municipal Government of San Miguel de Allende, headed by Mauricio Trejo Pureco, San Miguel de Allende was presented with its own stand at the 46th edition of the Tianguis Turístico, achieving a great sensation.

San Miguel de Allende generated so much excitement and attention among the attendees of the Tianguis Turístico that two ribbon cuttings were held at the pavilion of the destination that makes Mexico and the world beat.

The first ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo; the governor of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado Pineda; the Federal Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Márquez; as well as the Secretaries of Tourism of Guanajuato, Yucatán and Tamaulipas, Juan José Álvarez Brunell, Michelle Fridman and Fernando Olivera, and the Director of Municipal Tourism (San Miguel de Allende) Tania Castillo, always accompanied by all the service providers of the different guilds of San Miguel de Allende.

The second ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo; the governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo; Juan José Álvarez Brunell, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato and Tania Castillo, Director of Tourism of San Miguel de Allende, also accompanied by all the representatives of the guilds in the municipality.

San Miguel’s stand caused widespread interest, as tourism service providers promoted wedding tourism, wellness or wellness, wine tourism (vineyards), as well as the Cañada de la Virgen archaeological zone, to name a few.

Thus, on the first day of activities of the 46th edition of the Tianguis Turístico, San Miguel de Allende attracted the most attention and visitors, reiterating that it is the destination that is getting better every day and that makes Mexico and the world beat.
