Robofest, the event where students assembled robots from San Miguel de Allende, comes to an end

The students who participated in the ROBOFEST in San Miguel de Allende finished their participation.
More than a thousand children and young people from Colombia and Ecuador, as well as from Estado de Mexico, Hidalgo, Morelos, and Guanajuato participated.
‘Robofest LATAM 2022’ was the first free post-pandemic robotics event by COVID-19 and San Miguel de Allende was the venue, where children and young people developed their skills, thinking, creating, innovating, and competing with their robotic creations in the different categories.
Through the Directorate of Education and Infrastructure, ‘Robofest LATAM 2022’ was a success by concentrating this community to participate in conferences, stands, workshops, exhibitions, and competitions of autonomous robots.
The categories (challenges) are ‘Roboparade’ (floats, artistic design, and proximity sensors), ‘Bottle Sumo’ (combat and skills), ‘Game’ (playful) and ‘Robomed’ (medical) with health issues, ‘UMC’ (hidden challenge), ‘Roboarts’ (skills applied to art), ‘Exhibition’ (free theme).
Mayor Mauricio Trejo did not attend the closing event; the Mayor sent the person in charge of Youth (IMAJSMA), Genaro Sanchez.
