Through a bulletin, the municipality informed that 5 thousand people attended the New Year’s Eve event, held in the main garden with the singer Yuri.

At the concert, thousands of San Miguel residents and visitors bid farewell to the Old Year and welcomed the New Year in a family atmosphere, full of music and color.

Gathered in the main garden, the thousands of attendees sang for almost 2 hours, and then raised their voices for the countdown performed by the Veracruz artist.

After the massive countdown, the sky was illuminated with a fireworks show. This is how the New Year’s Eve celebration was experienced in the world heritage city.

The hotel occupancy rate was 98%, and in addition to the festivities, the Public Safety Secretariat reported a “clean slate” with respect to incidents of violence and antisocial behavior.
