On September 13 & 15, the traditional “La Conspiración” and “Simbólica” races return to San Miguel de Allende, which have been part of the celebrations of the national holidays of the Sanmiguelenses for more than 50 years. In recent days, the call was launched for the San Miguel athletes to enroll in the 71th Conspiracy Race and/or the 79th symbolic race.

The categories are free for both men and women. It is an exclusive race for sanmiguelenses and for those who have at least one year of residence in the municipality. The race will be on Sunday, September 13 at 5 o’clock in the afternoon for a route of approximately 5 kilometers.

The 78th traditional symbolic race of September 15, which is where the selected sanmiguelenses will bring from the house of the corregidora of Querétaro Doña Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, to the house of Generalissimo Don Ignacio de Allende y Unzaga. This is a minute-by-minute race, because the athletes will be relieved so that at no time does the march of the flame of freedom stop. The participation of more than 700 athletes from San Miguel is expected.
