La Connexion Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that we now are now exhibiting the wonderful magic realism oil paintings of artist Andrew Osta. The last time we exhibited Andrew’s work was in early 2017, when most of the show sold out. During this difficult time of self isolation, uncertainty, and worry, art is more important than ever, lifting our spirits and helping us transcend the mundane.

Located on the most beautiful street in San Miguel, only steps away from La Parroquia, La Connexion is dedicated to showing San Miguel’s best artists.

Andrew Osta was born in the Ukraine, studied in Canada and became well known as an artist in San Miguel between 2011 and 2017. He was a close friend and student of the late Canadian artists Toller Cranston and Marion Perlet. He has had over a hundred solo and group exhibitions, including museum exhibitions in Italy and in Durango, Mexico. His artwork has been used for album covers by a number of recording artists, including San Miguel’s own composer Michael Hoppe. More than 500 of his paintings are currently in private and corporate collections all over the world.
