Hello Everybody And Welcome To Modern Auto Repair
Since 10 years we are based in San Miguel de Allende, on the exit to Queretaro, just 2.5 miles out of San Miguel de Allende, right after passing ZIRANDARO on the right side.
After 20 years of working in Vintage Car Restoration close to Bonn and Cologne in Germany, I had the luck to see San Miguel de Allende in 2008 during a holiday, and have fallen in love with this amazing town and the people living here. This changed my life totally, and in 2009 I settled down in San Miguel. we started with restoring vintage cars and building race cars for famous ” La Carrera Panamericana “
In 2014 “Modern Auto Repair ” was born, and since then we are also working on ” Modern Cars “. All repairs & Tune-ups, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electronics, bodywork and paint of highest quality and much more.

We have done all kinds of repairs, may it be just a brake fluid replacement or also a manual or automatic transmission repair, engine rebuilding, differential repair, all kind of electronic problems and more. You name it, we do it.

As we are 2.5 miles outside of town we offer a shuttle service, or we even can come to your house to pick up and deliver your car.

As we are importing and transporting our own parts once a month from USA, we can order worldwide with best service and very good prices for all of your parts needed.
