Q: What’s the biggest misconception U.S. expats have about Medicare?
A: Many people assume that because they’re living in Mexico, Medicare no longer matters – or that it will somehow cover them here. In reality, traditional Medicare generally does not cover care received in Mexico, and your residency choices can have important implications for certain types of Medicare coverage.
