  • Our region sits at the center of the migration path between Central America and the US. LO QUE QUEDA EN EL CAMINO tells the story of Lilian and her four children as they migrate in search for a better life. The family leaves Guatemala, joining a caravan of thousands of other people trying to reach the Mexico-US border. Experience this dangerous journey through the eyes of a single mother, representative of the brave individuals risking all for their children.

The documentary screening is sponsored by The Latin American Relief Fund to benefit ABBA House’s new project, the Cultural Center for Human Rights, a long-term residence shelter which will house up to 200 more migrants and refugees: families, women, LGBTQ+ people, amputees and other disabled migrants in a safe and supportive environment. This transformative new center will offer rehabilitation services, job and skills training, legal services, art and music classes and more. Join us!
