Five cities in Guanajuato will join the Pink Tide that will be part of the National March for Democracy to be held next Sunday 18.

The cities of León, Irapuato, Celaya, San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato will join the 75 cities throughout the country in which citizens will defend autonomous organizations and democracy.

This march will have its epicenter at the Monument of the Revolution in Mexico City and will conclude in the Zócalo.

Representatives of the Marea Rosa organization in cities of Guanajuato called on society in general to replicate the rally and participate from 10 a.m.

The organizers recalled the meeting points and schedules in five cities of Guanajuato for the march on Sunday, February 18:

• San Miguel de Allende at 11 a.m. in Calzada de la Aurora
• In León, Arco de la Calzada at 11 a.m.
• Irapuato, at 10 a.m. at the Flag Monument, near Irekua Park
• Celaya, the appointment is at 11 a.m. in the Old Facilities of the Fair
• Guanajuato capital at 10 a.m. at the Glorieta del Caballito

The organizers have called for the defense of institutions such as the Judiciary, autonomous bodies and to demonstrate against the proposed changes to the Constitution made by President López Obrador.

They also call on participants to wear white or pink dresses.
